Description
Dumfries and Galloway Council has a duty under Section 32B of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 as amended, to conduct a housing support assessment for applicants who are unintentionally homeless or threatened with homelessness and that they have ‘reason to believe’ need the housing support services prescribed in regulations. The ‘regulations’ are the Housing Support Services (Homelessness) (Scotland) Regulations 2012. This opportunity is for the provision of high-quality outreach housing support within the Dumfries and Galloway region for anyone who has been subject to domestic abuse and/or coercive control. This includes those who have been assessed as homeless or threatened with homelessness.
