In this case, the grounds for not exposing to competition are as follows:\r\n The aircraft are due to be sold by the Scottish Ministers. Brokerage services are due to commence on 1 September 2025 so this leaves a lapse time of one month from end of service provision. Storage of the two aircraft and maintenance of the aircraft including a D-check which is due on one aircraft will have to be done to ensure maintain of their value. The present supplier is the only supplier able to provide a CAA maintenance agreed plan to undertake such a service and thus a short extension to our existing contract has been made for a period of one month.",
