Description

Pembrokeshire College is seeking to procure the supply and installation of permanent metal security fencing and gates at two sites in Haverfordwest.The works comprise the supply and installation of high-security V-mesh fencing at both locations: 2.0 m high fencing at Site A and 2.4 m high fencing at Site B, each complete with a matching-height access gate. Fencing is to be installed along the red line boundaries indicated on the provided drawings.Fence posts are to be installed in minimum 800 mm × 800 mm × 1350 mm concrete footings (C30 grade), with an embedment depth of 1.2 m, and a 50–100 mm compacted crushed stone base. All posts must be pre-galvanized and powder-coated RAL 6005 green and spaced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations to suit site conditions while maintaining a consistent fence height. Weld mesh panels, also finished in RAL 6005, shall be installed with a maximum clearance of 50 mm above the finished ground level.Access gates shall match the fence specification—pre-galvanized and powder-coated RAL 6005 green—and feature mitred frame corners, a sliding latch, and drop bolts to each leaf.
