    "description": "RSPB Cymru is looking to appoint a contractor to deliver peatland restoration works on a privately owned site, south of Llangollen. The site is part of the Berwyn SSSI, SPA, and SAC, and is designated in part for blanket bog habitats. The contractor will be working to raise water tables across the blanket bog by blocking drainage ditches, gullies, and peat pipes with peat dams, reprofiling hags, and constructing low contour bunds. The most common repair required is bare peat needing to be covered with vegetation nearby. Historic management has meant the site is extremely heather dominated.
