This tender document outlines the requirements for the replacement and repair of a Klargester Wastewater Treatment Plant located at Plas Menai, National Outdoor Centre, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 1UE.This document references the Service Visit Report SC0136690 dated April 2, 2025, Klargester Bill of Material and the Plas Menai Invitation to Tender dated July 14th, 2025.Plas Menai is a fully operational outdoor centre and leisure centre with a high daily throughput of customers.The existing Klargester Biodisc system is aged and requires extensive overhaul.The system is non-standard, with the RBC built into a concrete chamber. Refer to the Service Visit Report SC0136690 for detailed findings and dimensions.The waste treatment works must remain functional throughout the project by means of intercepting the incoming pipework and over pumping or other industry approved methods.The project scope includes, but is not limited to:Emptying and cleaning the current tank.Removal and disposal of the current Klargester mechanism, steel works, and tank cover.Temporarily diverting waste and tankerage for disposal.removing the old rotor and inner workings.Carrying out repairs and remedial work to the tank.Installing new inner workings, structural steels, and a replacement Biozone.Replacing all internal steelwork.Replacing the shaft, bearings, and chain.Replacing the motor access gangway with GRP deck 500.Installing a visual indication system to show plant working or in faultCommissioning the new system.Providing all necessary drawings, technical details (AutoCAD .dwg and PDF), and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=152402.
