Description

Conwy County Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the Client) wish to invite Requests to Tender from suitably qualified companies for the performance of the following contract:Servicing of Fire Alarm & Emergency Lights from April 2025 to March 2028.The county of Conwy covers a total of 1,126 sq km covering coastal and rural areas.Conwy County Borough Council properties are situated throughout the whole county with some located in remote rural locations, therefore due consideration should be given as to the dispersed nature of the properties.Conwy County Borough Council properties vary in age from period listed status through to new builds, with some being situated in conservation areas.The form of Contract for this commission will be main Option A, dispute resolution Option W1 and secondary Options X2, X17, X19 and X20 of the NEC4 Term Service Contract. The Contract will last for three years from the agreed start date with an option to extend to a fourth year.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=149936.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. In the first year of contract ONLY the month of April 2025 servicing works will not be required for all the properties listed to be carried out in that month as per "Work programme 2025-28" how ever, year 2 and 3 of the contact April work will be required(WA Ref:149936)
