    "description": "Liverpool City Council is seeking a supplier to complete highway improvement works on Queens Drive.\r\n\r\nThe scope includes:\r\n\r\n\u2022 Carriageway resurfacing between its junction with Dovedale Road and Mossley Hill Drive\r\n\u2022 Upgrade of existing footways and paved areas\r\n\u2022 Upgrade of existing highway drainage network\r\n\u2022 Accessibility improvements, such as upgrade of existing pedestrian crossing facilities\r\n\r\nIn addition, the project will include implementation of interventions associated with the S278 Liverpool College (off-site) highway works, including:\r\n\r\n\u2022 Carriageway resurfacing along North Mossley Hill Road\r\n\u2022 Verge protection and repair measures along Queens Drive and Aigburth Vale\r\n\u2022 Improvements to Ibbotson\u0027s Lane Public Right of Way\r\n\u2022 Traffic signal upgrades at the junction of Queens Drive / North Mossley Hill Road\r\n\u2022 Installation of a new cyclist and pedestrian crossing facility at the junction of Ibbotson\u0027s Lane and North Mossley Hill to facilitate active travel\r\n\u2022 TRO changes along Queens Drive and North Mossley Hill Road\r\n\r\nThe opportunity will be competed under Lot 2 of LCC\u0027s Highway Planned Works Framework.",
