    "description": "National Highways is seeking specialist technical consultants to undertake the re-write of both GG 951 \u0026 GS 952 in line with the Manual for Development of Documents (MDD).\r\nThe update of both GG 951 \u0026 GS 952 is a requirement of the MDD v6.5 in which s20.6 states \u0027the first document review shall be scheduled for completion 4 years after the documents initial publication date, allowing up to a year for the changes to go through the governance process and be published within a 5-year cycle\u0027.\r\nBoth GG 951 \u0026 GS 952 were initially published in August 2021, giving approximately 12 months until the review and update deadlines.\r\n\r\nThe existing T0634 undertaken in 2024/25 provided:\r\na)\tA review of the existing standards\r\nb)\tCollating of feedback and known issues\r\nc)\tEngagement with Industry Practice Bodies, Partner Organisations and Suppliers/Users\r\nd)\tA high-level Document Development Plan (DDP)",
