    "description": "The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the \"Council\") is conducting this procurement process using the open procedure in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (\"PCR\"). The procurement documentation has been made available following the publication of the Contract Notice on the UK e-notification service.\r\n\r\nTenders are invited by the Council from Contractors with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Specialist Works (the \"Works\") under a proposed Framework Agreement. \r\n\r\nThe Framework Agreement will consist of 4 Lots:\r\nLot 1 - Damp Works \u0026 Miscellaneous Associated Works, estimated annual Value of \u00a31,060,000\r\nLot 2 - Timber Infestation Treatment \u0026 Miscellaneous Associated Works, estimated annual value of \u00a3745,000\r\nLot 3 - Mould Eradication, estimated annual value of \u00a3600,000\r\nLot 4 - Solid Floor/Minor Structural Works, estimated annual value \u00a330,000\r\n\r\nThe majority of the Works will be to social housing, but the Framework Agreement will also cover Works to schools and other associated council buildings.  In addition to the above Works, Homes \u0026 Neighbourhoods may choose to procure specialist treatment works for larger schemes (estimated values \u00a340k and above or more than 2 properties on the same footprint or block) by  seeking competitive tenders/quotations/further competition for these works. \r\n\r\nWhilst this Framework has been designed predominantly for Damp Works and Timber Infestation Treatment Works, successful Contractors will be expected to undertake the associated works within H\u0026N domestic housing properties. This will ensure that these Works do not have a detrimental effect on our tenants or on our KPI\u0027s for Void Properties. \r\n\r\nThe anticipated commencement date for the Framework is 1st November 2024.\r\nThe anticipated expiry date for the Framework is 31st October 2027 with the option to extend for a further 12 months thereafter.\r\n\r\nTenderers must submit a Tender electronically via the internet using the YORtender Electronic Tendering System at https://yortender.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=YORTENDER.",
