The STEP programme will design and build the world\u0027s first compact prototype fusion powerplant, based on the spherical tokamak design, by 2040s. Currently, the concept design of all major systems and plant are in an ongoing refinement process\r\n      The purpose of this contract is to develop a concept control system of a Power and Energy Management System (PEMS), and to further develop the powerplant simulation models for its STEP Prototype Plant (SPP) Electrical Infrastructure system.
