    "description": "The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of works in respect of the execution of a range of one-off public realm works across Retford and Worksop town centres. Most of the requested works focus on the replacement and installation of various items of street furniture (Retford and Worksop), alongside repainting of numerous items of other furniture (specific to Retford).\r\n\r\nThe objectives of this contract are:\r\n\u2022\tReplacement and installation of 25 bins in Retford Town Centre\r\n\u2022\tRefurbishment of 3 cast iron bins currently in-situ in the Market Place\r\n\u2022\tReplacement and installation of 27 Georgian-style seats and 7 Georgian-style benches in Retford Town Centre\r\n\u2022\tRepair of 3 benches (only new slats needed - benches are attached on top of a wall)\r\n\u2022\tReplacement and installation of 14 traditional fingerpost signs in Retford Town Centre\r\n\u2022\tRepainting of various items of street furniture in Retford Town Centre\r\n\u2022\tVarious improvements to Retford Market\r\n\u2022\tReplacement and installation of 30 bins in Worksop\r\n\u2022\tVarious improvements to Worksop Market\r\n\r\nFurther information on the requirement and relevant performance standards are available within the Specification.\r\n\r\nThe anticipated contract commencement date is March 2025.\r\n\r\nThe Council proposes to enter one contract for an initial period of 3 months with the preferred supplier with an option to extend dependent on potential changes to funding guidelines.  \r\n\r\nThe budget for this contract is \u00a3200,000 in its entirety (exclusive of VAT). Please Note: The Council reserves the right to reject any submissions that are over budget without further evaluation. \r\n\r\nInterested suppliers are invited to view the opportunity and apply by searching on the ProContract procurement portal under DN758810.
