    "description": "Unite Procurement UK Limited (part of Unite Holding SE), on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, is seeking suppliers to join the Unite Procurement Platform to support the supply of Supply of Multi-Tool Head 3D Printer with Enclosure.\r\n\r\nThe Unite Procurement Platform\r\n(Unite | Simplify indirect procurement with our smarter platform) offers a compliant route to market for UK Public Sector organisations to manage low-value, high-volume procurement.\r\n3.1 Equipment Specification\r\nThe 3D printing system must include:\r\n\u2022\tLarge build volume suitable for production scale prototyping\r\n\u2022\tMultiple independent or coordinated toolheads (minimum 5), enabling:\r\no\tMulti material printing\r\no\tMulti colour printing\r\no\tTool specific capabilities (e.g., extrusion, support material, engineering polymers)\r\n\u2022\tFully assembled unit ready for operation\r\n\u2022\tRigid enclosed frame or enclosure bundle for temperature stability, part quality, and operator safety\r\n3.2 Performance Requirements\r\n\u2022\tHigh dimensional accuracy and repeatability\r\n\u2022\tAutomatic or assisted bed levelling\r\n\u2022\tFilament/material compatibility with common engineering materials (PLA, PETG, ABS, nylon, flexible materials, etc.)\r\n\u2022\tControlled build chamber for improved material performance\r\n\u2022\tIntegrated monitoring tools (e.g., sensors, display, software interface)\r\n3.3 Software \u0026 Integration\r\n\u2022\tCompatible 3D printing control software\r\n\u2022\tSupport for common file formats (e.g., STL, 3MF, OBJ)\r\n\u2022\tRemote monitoring and print management capability (where permitted by security policy)\r\n3.4 Safety \u0026 Compliance\r\n\u2022\tEnclosed system to reduce emissions and improve safety\r\n\u2022\tCompliance with relevant UK and EU equipment safety standards\r\n\u2022\tEmergency stop function and thermal protection features\r\n\r\n\r\nHow to Apply\r\nInterested suppliers should register their interest by contacting Unite Procurement UK Limited and provide details of their product range, modification capabilities, and maintenance services.
