    "description": "Technical advice to Technical Standards Group of National Highways.\r\nNational Highways (the Client) is looking to set up a contract for the provision of a range of technical engineering consultancy services to support the Technical Standards Group (TSG) with the implementation of new technical standards and revising existing technical standards which are used for the assessment, design and construction of all works on the strategic road network.\r\nThe support enables TSG to manage peaks and troughs of document quality reviews, technical standards committee consultations, advice to technical authors and assurance that the documents work together to support the overseeing organisations in managing technical risk and we have a complimentary and non-contradictory set of documents with clear links between Design \u003e Design Outputs \u003e Construction/Installation. \r\nThe overall objective of the service is that all documents are published on time with a minimum viable acceptable level of quality to meet the Client\u0027s requirements (as contained within the Manual for Development of Documents (MDD)).\r\nThe service includes:\r\n-\tAdvise and provide progressive assurance and support on the Manual for Development of Documents (MDD) matters (editorial aspects, governance aspects and aspects related to EC notification) during the drafting process. \r\n-\tSupport TSGs vision for more automation of MDD compliance checks based on the outcome of the document reviews.\r\n-\tImproving National Highways capability by collecting and sharing knowledge.\r\nThis work package will be managed and governed by TSG.",
