COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nSwindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of structural repairs to external staircase\u0027s and walkways to 7 no. sheltered schemes, 3 no. external stairs to railway village properties \u0026 3 no. commercial properties.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nProject Description\\r\r\n\\r\r\n1.1\tStructural repairs to external staircases and walkways. The works include but are not limited to: \\r\r\n\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tPreparation of steel elements for painting \u0026 applying top coat \\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tReplacement of particular steel elements (where necessary) identified within structural reports\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tPainting stair nosing\u0027s\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tApplication of non-slip coatings\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tApplication of protective sheeting\u0027s for prevention of climbing\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tReplacing uprights\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tReplacement of sections of timber balustrade, where identified.\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tReplace cracked slabs\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tVegetation Removal\\r\r\n\\r\r\nThe initial contract term will be for 12 months from 1st June 2025. With no optional extension periods.  \\r\r\nEstimated contract spend is between \u00a3340,000 and \u00a3350,000 across the contract term.  \\r\r\n\\r\r\nFull details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nTo participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents.
