    "description": "As part of the track system packages for each lot, Ferrovial BAM JV will be procuring designated professional roles. The Services Package A shall consist of provision of designated professionals to perform, within the Contractor\u0027s Design Management team, the following Designated professional Role(s) under the Main Contract:\r\n    - Contractor\u0027s RAM Manager\r\n    - Contractor\u0027s System Safety Engineer\r\n    - Contractor\u0027s Interoperability point of contact\r\n    - Contractor\u0027s Cyber Security Manager\r\n    - Contractor\u0027s Fire Manager \r\n    \r\n    Potential mobilization start (soft start) in September/October 2025 - then estimated full start Febuary 2026.\r\n\r\nAdditional information: 1.\tLead the management, oversight of designers\u0027 delivery on the following:\r\n        \u2022\tRequirements - ensure there are suitable plans/procedures/processes are in place to evidence compliance with the requirements of the Contract and provision of required assurance under the Contract,  (evidence normally provided by others, for example the Designers) and review of evidence supplied by the others (e.g. the Designers)\r\n        \u2022\tManage, for these elements of scope, the design and assurance delivery in line with the programme\r\n        \u2022\tSupport on Departures including discussions with Designers, Contractor\u0027s staff, and HS2 or others\r\n        \r\n        2.\tPlans \u0026 processes\r\n        Draft - liaising as required with the Designers, the Contractor\u0027s staff, HS2 and/or others - the following plans \u0026 processes; seek approval by HS2; address and reach resolution of any comments (including resubmissions) until acceptance by HS2\r\n        \u2022\tRAM Plan and Programme\r\n        \u2022\tContractor\u0027s System Safety Management Plan\r\n        \u2022\tInteroperability Management Plan\r\n        \u2022\tReview the Physical Security Plan\r\n        \u2022\tRAM Demonstration Plan\r\n        \u2022\tInterface Management Plan - input on the Rail Systems safety part\r\n        \u2022\tRAM Reliability Growth Plan\r\n        \u2022\tReview of EMC Control Plan and E\u0026B Execution Plan\r\n        \u2022\tSupport with the definition of the processes, in liaison with Contractor\u0027s Information Management Team, Design Management Team to support supply of evidence of assurance to HS2\r\n        \r\n        3.\tReview and manage design deliverables\r\n        Review associated design deliverables \u0026 approval for submission to HS2, including assessment of integration within Contractor\u0027s design, address comments; for:\r\n        \u2022\tDesign deliverables\r\n        \u2022\tSpecifications\r\n        \u2022\tAssociated assurance deliverables, evidence of assurance,\r\n        \u2022\tAcceptance for submission to HS2. Manage addressing and closing out any associated comments from HS2 and others (including Assessment Body (AsBO))\r\n        \u2022\tSupport the process of Departures, and contribute to the Departures Register\r\n        \u2022\tAssumptions: identify and set, ensure recording, in coordination with Designers and Contractor\u0027s Design Management team. Manage discussions and agreement with Designers and HS2 and close out of Assumptions\r\n        \r\n        4.\tCoordination and liaison with other parties, interfaces:\r\n        \u2022\tParticipate or lead on IDCs, IDRs or other Review sessions\r\n        \u2022\tLiaise with HS2, Designer\u0027s SMEs, Assessment Body (AsBO), suppliers/subcontractors and others on behalf of the Contractor\r\n        \u2022\tChair or support/participate in meetings for interfaces with HS2, RSCs, MWCCs or other parties\r\n        \u2022\tEstablish, own and maintain/update as needed ICDs to manage interfaces with HS2, other RSCs, MWCCs, to ensure integration within Contractor\u0027s design, of other systems and/or design by Others /Employer\u0027s Design\r\n        \u2022\tManage other systems inputs\r\n        \r\n        5.\tMiscellaneous\r\n        \u2022\tCoordinate with other design disciplines within design delivery, with interface management team, technical assurance team and information management team as required for the design delivery\r\n        \u2022\tSupport to manage risk and change, in liaison with Contractor\u0027s Design Management and Commercial teams, also on procurement processes\r\n        \u2022\tIdentify and propose/manage optimization ideas in respect of the Scope of the Contract, for each design discipline\r\n        \u2022\tCoordination with other Contractor\u0027s teams\r\n        \u2022\tSupport to manage the design programme activities\r\n        \u2022\tSupport on reporting",
