    "description": "Various building and services works, including acoustic, technical equipment and accessibility enhancements (new lift and lift refurbishments) and internal\r\nalterations to Snape Maltings Concert Hall. \r\nAlterations to existing energy centre to facilitate greater\r\nuse of sustainable heating and the provision of solar PV on roofs of the Hoffmann, the Winch Gallery and Flat Roofs adjacent to the Concert Hall. Procured through an initial Pre Qualification Questionnaire and then short listing to a competitive tender process.\r\n\r\nThe works proposed comprise the following:\r\n\r\nConcert Hall (CH1 and CH2)\r\n\r\nCH1: Acoustic treatment to Concert Hall, installation of retractable banners\r\nCH1: Performance Technical equipment upgrades and replacement (stage and house lighting, rigging systems, assisted listening)\r\nCH1: roof covering replacement and insulation on South, East \u0026 West faces;  high level maintenance of \"bluffs\", structural repair / strengthening\r\nCH2: refurbishment of WCs, fabric repairs (brickwork)\r\nCH2: ventilation improvements inc. new AHU; new lighting\r\nCH2: refurbishment of two existing lifts, one new platform lift\r\nCH2: remodelling of Discovery Centre for future exhibition space\r\n\r\nNB: audience seating improvements as a separate, client-led project, CH3 will have a dirrect interface and attendances requirements\r\n\r\nHeating and Renewables (HR1, HR2 and HR3)\r\n\r\nHR1: consolidation of Energy Centre boilers, new District Heating and Cooling pipework\r\nHR2: Photovoltaic panels to Concert Hall lower south roof, Hoffmann building roof\r\nHR3: new site wide Building Management System (BMS)\r\n\r\nThe works have Planning and Listed Building Consent.\r\n\r\nProject Manager / Contract Administrator\t\tGardiner \u0026 Theobald\r\nArchitect\t\t\t\t\t\t                                        de Matos Ryan\r\nStructural / Civil Engineer\t\t\t\t                        Price \u0026 Myers\r\nBuilding Services Engineer\t\t\t\t                Ingleton Wood\r\nTheatre Specialist \u0026 Acoustician\t\t\t                Charcoalblue\r\nQS\t\t\t\t\t\t\t                                                Bristow\r\nPlanning Consultant\t\t\t\t\t                        Bidwell\r\nLandscape Architect\t\t\t\t\t                        Untitled Practice\r\n\r\nAdditional information: The link is to the PQQ submission folder.
