    "description": "This is a Contract Award Notice\r\n\r\nThe Care Quality Commission (CQC) require the provision of research services. The aim of the research is to: \r\nGauge levels of awareness, understanding of and engagement with activities we would commonly associate with Safety Management Systems (SMS) in the Adult Social Care (ASC) sector. Such as:\r\n-Safety management policies \r\n-Clear accountabilities and responsibilities for safety \r\n-Hazard identification \r\n-Incident response \r\n-Risk mitigation measures \r\n-Employee participation \r\n-Management of change \r\n-Communication of safety information \r\n-Training of staff in safety \r\n-Emergency preparedness \r\n-Involving the people requiring care and support, and the public in safety considerations. \r\n\r\nThis procurement was undertaken through the CQC Research and Evaluation Framework Lot 9 - Effective Social Care, following the Further Competition Process.\r\n\r\nThe Contract is awarded for a total of 7 months.\r\n\r\nTotal Awarded Value is maximum of all charges including any optional contract extensions.\r\n\r\nContract Reference: CQC EP\u0026S 104",
