    "description": "Framework for the Survey, Design, Supply, Install, Remove, Recondition and/ or Store of Stairlifts and Associated Works in the Community.\r\nThe scope of lifts currently delivered encompasses Straight \u0026 Curved Track Stair Lifts,\r\nof which a combined total of approximately 175 are delivered on an annual basis across the County.\r\nSuccessful Service providers will visit clients, carry out surveys and submit quotes to the Home Improvement Agency (HIA).\r\nFollowing submission of quotes, the HIA will approve grants and allocate funding based on the eligibility of clients and works as detailed in the Housing Grants, Construction and Repair Act 1996 and Durham County Council policies.\r\n1 Bidding organisation will be appointed onto this framework.\r\nThe Council believes that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) applies to this contract.\r\nThis Framework will be available for use by Durham County Council and the following additional Contracting Authorities, where they have entered into a Procurement Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Durham County Council.\r\nThe documents must be downloaded from \r\nhttps://www.open-uk.org/ \r\nunder Reference 202534\r\n\r\nAdditional information: The documents must be downloaded from \r\nhttps://www.open-uk.org/ \r\nunder Reference 202534",
