    "description": "Supply of Water and Wastewater Services is business critical and the Council\u0027s aim is to ensure that it appoints a competent and reliable supplier for the supply of water and wastewater services within corporate buildings, which maximises both cost and environmental benefits. The supplier will be required to work in partnership with the Council to achieve this aim.\r\n\r\nThe proposal is to harmonise the service for 186 properties over the legacy councils onto one contract.  55 sites in former South Lakeland District Council are currently in contract until 31 January 2025.  These will transfer over on to the framework on 1 February 2025.\r\n\r\nN.B. This contract award was carried out by direct award via the YPO Framework Agreement 001181 for provision of Water, Wastewater and Ancilliary Services.\r\n",
