    "description": "Thanet District Council is seeking to procure a provider for the Security Services Contract Security Services at various sites within the District of Thanet contract and invites prospective suppliers\u0027 to submit a Tender to meet the requirements.\r\n\r\nThe Security Service contract is packaged as 7 separate Lots and will be required 365 days a year:\r\n\r\nLot 1- Port and Harbour \r\nLot 2 - Reception \u0026 security at cecil street\r\nLot 3 - Opening/closing Royal Harbour Multi Storey Car Park, Ramsgate \r\nLot 4 - Opening/closing Mill Lane Multi Storey Car Park, Margate\r\nLot 5 - Key Holder for out of hours cover for Royal Harbour and Mill Lane Multi Storey \r\nLot 6 - Seasonal + Ad Hoc security provision estimated\r\nLot 7 - Winter Gardens vacant property security\r\n             \r\nFor Lots 1-6 the Contract/s are anticipated to commence upon 2 June 2025 for a duration of 3 Years, with one option to extend for 2 Years, at the sole discretion of the Council.\r\n\r\nFor Lot 7 the Contract is anticipated to commence upon 2 June 2025 for a duration of 12 months with four options to extend for 12 months each, at the sole discretion of the Council.\r\n\r\nImportant Information: All procurement documents are attached to the notice and available for suppliers to download from the Kent Business Poral (www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk) and complete according to instructions contained.\r\n                             \r\nThe procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Tender document. \r\n\r\nAny clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Message area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 25th February 2025.\r\n\r\nCompleted tender documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 7 March 2025.",
