    "description": "The London Borough of Hillingdon (the Council) was seeking  to appoint a single supplier for its Lost and Stray Dogs Service, inclusive of collection, transportation and the kennelling of the animals for a period of up to 7 days. The required service is for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is to include banned breedsin accordance with the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.\r\nThe following provisions are to be implemented during the contract period:\r\n- Environmental Protection Act 1990;\r\n- Environmental Protection (Stray Dogs) Regulations 1992;\r\n- AnimalWelfare Act 2006;\r\n- The AnimalWelfare (Licensing of Activities involving Animals) Regulations 2018;\r\n- Welfare of Animals (Transport) (England\r\nThe contract start date is 1st July 2025 for three years.\r\nContract start date amended from October 24 to July 25 ( as per previously advertised in the Contract Finder Opportunity Notice ( tender_441996/1363765)",
