    "description": "This purchase is to procure the services of a specialist to conduct a bespoke study of the external pay and benefits landscape of comparable roles to MCA Marine Surveyor Grades.\r\n\r\nAs part of the Survey \u0026 Inspection Transformation Programme (SITP) in 2015, a Pay Benchmarking exercise was conducted to help develop an attractive pay and remuneration package for Marine Surveyors and to improve recruitment retention within the organisation. It was agreed following implementation of SITP, that Pay Benchmarking exercises would be completed every 3 years to evaluate the MCAs offer against the external marketplace to measure movement. Exercises were completed in 2019 and 2023, and this exercise is to continue the cycle. This work aims to do the same and to help inform planning and decision making going forward.",
