    "description": "\"The main contracted works is for the construction of a new overbridge (Marston Road Overbridge) to facilitate the decommissioning of the current Marston Road Level Crossing. The Level Crossing is situated on the Bletchley and Bedford Midland Line (BBM) @ 9m 02ch.\r\n      \r\n      The scope of the works is the construction of the new bridge and assosciated works as per the current Form 2 Design.\r\n      \r\n      Works involve but not limited to the following:\r\n      \r\n      The works to be carried out include but not limited to the list below: \r\n      1. Consultation with stakeholders to agree the level of welfare provision, access arrangements, service diversions and other works necessary to enable commencement of the works. \r\n      2. Undertaking of enabling works to create a worksite suitable for the works. \r\n      3. Temporary Works development to enable permanent works construction.  \r\n      4. Installation of the new drainage ditch either side of the new highway. Pipework, chambers, under track crossing, and headwall structures for the underground culvert diversion on the East side of the existing road alignment. \r\n      5. Construction of the piled foundation \u0026 pile caps either side of the railway lines to support the installation of the new abutment, wingwalls and restraint barriers.  \r\n      6. Construction of the bridge abutments, cills and wingwalls. \r\n      7. Procurement and fabrication of beams, approach units, bearings, parapet, waterproofing and surfacing of the of the new bridge structure.  \r\n      8. Installation of approach embankments to the abutments with engineered material combined with the installation of deck drainage and highway drainage to outfall. \r\n      9. Construction of the embankment slopes and ancillary highway infrastructure including carriageway, white lining, verges, tie-ins, footpaths, approach safety barriers, fencing and service ducting from Chainage 10m to Chainage 540m as per Form F (180940-MUR-ZZ-XX-DRG-EHW-000).  \r\n      10. Diversion and reinstallation of the Statutory Services (Anglian Water, Cadent Gas, UK Power Network, Openreach (BT)) in the new highway overbridge infrastructure.  \r\n      11. Installation of cable troughs, and chambers on under track crossings for systems cabling.  \r\n      12. Telecommunications related modification works.   \r\n      13. E \u0026 P related modification \u0026 installation works.  \r\n      14. Signalling related modification works. \r\n      15.
