    "description": "East Cambridgeshire District Council require the refurbishment of the annexe passenger lift at The Grange, Nutholt Lane, Ely, CB7 4EE. The current lift is an electric hydraulic passenger lift (max. 8 persons/630kg) 3 floors indirect acting.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nIt is expected that works will include:\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tThe following to be removed and disposed of according to current hazardous waste regulations:\\r\r\no\tLift control panel\\r\r\no\tShaft information system, including wiring and limit switches\\r\r\no\tCar and landing push stations\\r\r\no\tCar lighting unit\\r\r\no\tDoor drive unit.\\r\r\n\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tSupply and fit the following:\\r\r\no\tNew control system including shaft information system and switches\\r\r\no\tRewire complete lift installation back as far as main isolator within the motor room\\r\r\no\tNew door drive unit\\r\r\no\tNew car and landing push stations to be DDA compliant\\r\r\no\tNew car lighting including emergency backup\\r\r\no\tCarry out full hydraulic valve overhaul\\r\r\no\tCarry out full shaft clean down and paint lift pit area\\r\r\no\tSet up and test to the required British standards under BS EN 81, before returning lift to normal service.\\r\r\n",
