    "description": "Ashington Town Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tender for the supply (hire), installation, maintenance, and storage of festive lighting displays for Ashington Town Council. This tender forms part of our initial selection process to identify a preferred supplier, with detailed designs and final costs to be agreed upon appointment.\r\n\r\nContractors must comply with:\r\nPublic Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended)\r\nBS EN IEC 60598-2-20:2024+A11:2024 Luminaires - Particular requirements for lighting chains\r\nBS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition)\r\nHealth and Safety at Work Act 1974\r\nWorking at Height Regulations 2005\r\nCDM Regulations 2015\r\n\r\nTenderers must provide:\r\nPublic Liability Insurance (minimum \u00a310 million)\r\nEmployer\u0027s Liability Insurance (minimum \u00a35 million)\r\nProfessional Indemnity Insurance (minimum \u00a32 million)\r\nRisk Assessments and Method Statements\r\nEvidence of similar contracts\r\nFinancial accounts for the past three years\r\nEnvironmental policy\r\nQuality management systems\r\n\r\nTenderers must submit:\r\nCompany profile and experience\r\nProposed approach to service delivery\r\nSustainability statement including comparative benefits of 3-year vs 5-year contract\r\nReferences from similar contracts\r\nOutline maintenance schedule\r\nEquipment specifications\r\nProject team structure\r\nQuality Assurance Procedures\r\nInfrastructure Assessment and Installation Methodology\r\nConceptual designs illustrating proposed products and design approach\r\n\r\nPresentations will form part of the formal evaluation process. They will be assessed on clarity, understanding of the Council\u0027s requirements, technical knowledge, and responses to questions. \r\nThe presentation will contribute to the final scoring either.
