    "description": "Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust requires asbestos removal services for Leighton Hospital.\r\n\r\nThe services include specialist support for both planned and reactive asbestos removal works, general maintenance activities and emergency works as required by the Trust.\r\n\r\nTypical activities include, but are not limited to:\r\n\u2022 Drilling and installing fixings\r\n\u2022 Core drilling\r\n\u2022 Encapsulations\r\n\u2022 Window and glazing removal\r\n\u2022 Minor asbestos cleans and litter picks\r\n\u2022 Watching briefs and survey assistance\r\n\u2022 RAAC removal and pocket cutting\r\n\u2022 Minor demolition activities\r\n\r\nControlled removal of non-licensed asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), including:\r\n\u2022 Asbestos cement\r\n\u2022 Asbestos-containing paints and coatings (e.g., Artex)\r\n\u2022 CAF gaskets, asbestos rope, and rope/textile gaskets\r\n\u2022 Asbestos-containing mastic\r\n\u2022 Soil and vent pipes, gutters, flashing, and window drip trays\r\n\u2022 Felt and roofing materials\r\n\u2022 Pipes, conduits, and non-licensed pipe lagging\r\n\u2022 Pipe hangers and box ducting\r\n\u2022 Bitumen and asbestos cement pipes\r\n\u2022 Electrical components such as fuse boxes, cabling, flash guards, and fuse tape\r\n\u2022 Residual materials from old enclosures, expanding foam, fillers, and similar products",
