    "description": "OMIS FT was launched in April 2023 in Research as a one-stop, travel initiation and authorisation tool/ app, which allowed the VC and other senior leaders clear oversight of international travel in research. It is a business essential tool from both a risk and finance perspective. Following the successful adoption of OMIS FT in Research, the VC/SLT requested it be rolled out to other parts of the Group, including APU, EIO, Colleges and NITE. The product was developed and is owned by Magic Square Systems. This renewal is simply to cover the costs of this wider roll-out and the annual maintenance costs of hosting the product. Once rolled-out across the Group,  OMIS FT will provide significant resource efficiencies with a single consistent approach to travel authorisation.",
