    "description": "Central Region - West \r\n\r\nBrief scope of works:\r\nReplace all flat main entrance doors 43 properties\r\nReplace all windows to 1 no property\r\nInstall new battery-operated doorbells\r\nClean down inside \u0026 out existing door \u0026 frame to 1 no property\r\nRe-route mains gas pipes at 4 no properties\r\nPart time On Site Liaison Officer\r\n\r\nAmey have been tasked by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation through the Future Defence Infrastructure Service to deliver the Regional Accommodation Maintenance Service for the Central and North Regions. \r\n\r\nFor Amey to accept any Expression of Interest it is ESSENTIAL that any subcontractor is: \r\n\r\nwilling to act as Main Contractor (essential requirement); \r\n\r\na member of Constructionline at GOLD LEVEL 3; \r\n\r\ncapable of working to MOD SFG20 (Pre-Planned Maintenance works only); \r\n\r\ncapable of working in a Building Information Management (BIM) Level 2 environment (where applicable); \r\n\r\ncompliant with DefStan 05-138 (required if you are likely to handle MoD Identifiable Information on your IT system); \r\n\r\nwilling to work with Amey to deliver Social Value to our Client. \r\n\r\nDESIRABLE attributes of our Supply Chain: \r\n\r\nhave a Corporate Social Responsibility policy; \r\n\r\nhave a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan \r\n\r\nIf successful the subcontractor will need to pass a pre-qualification questionnaire, sign up to Amey Terms and Conditions, and meet the MoD Security Requirements.  \r\n\r\nThis advert is for Expressions of Interest (BY EMAIL ONLY) - from the responses and our existing subcontractor data base we shall compile the tender list.  \r\n\r\nTender packs will follow separately via our e-tender portal (Curtis Fitch). \r\n\r\nNote 1: The bidder must quote for all aspects of the Works. \r\n\r\nNote 2: Future works of a similar nature may be negotiated based upon submitted rates. \r\n\r\nNote 3: Those making an Expression of Interest will be required to sign-up to our \u0027Sub-contract Agreement\u0027 where \u0027Mini Competitions\u0027 or \u0027Call Offs\u0027 may be used to tender works/services. \r\n\r\nNote 4: For complex projects such as External Wall Insulation installation, Structural works etc. it is a requirement that the bidder must carry Professional Indemnity Insurance cover of not less than \u00a31,000,000. \r\n\r\nThis opportunity was previously advertised on Constructionline.",
