    "description": "The Police \u0026 Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire has awarded a contract for vehicle hire services for Warwickshire Police.  This was a direct award via Crown Commercial Services RM6265 provision of Vehicle Hire Services Lot 1 Hire of Vehicles up to 3.5T, following the comparison of framework pricing for 19 regularly hired vehicles across suppliers on Lot 1 of the framework.  This award is PCR 2015 compliant.  The contract is for an initial term of 3 years with options to extend for a further 2 periods of 12 months each.  Value will be dependent on usage and is therefore estimated, the Fleet team are aiming to reduce spend on hires by investing in additional compact vehicles to add to the fleet and by implementing tighter internal controls around vehicle hires.",
