    "description": "Coulsdon Primary Care Centre Design \u0026 New Build\r\n\r\nPlease note -\r\nThe submission deadline for this tender is 10am on Monday 28th April 2025.\r\nThe deadline for clarification questions is 12noon on 17th April 2025.\r\nBidders should reserve ALL of Tues 6th May 2025 for a one hour face to face presentation at Croydon Hospital.\r\n\r\nPlease note that due to the very tight timescales on this project, it is exceptionally unlikely that an extension to the tender submission deadline will be granted.\r\nPlease work on the assumption that no extension will be granted.\r\n\r\nPlease e-mail  james.reiff@croydon.gov.uk cced warren.peacock1@nhs.net ASAP to arrange a site visit\r\n(don\u0027t miss out the \"1\") \r\nPlease do not contact James and Warren about anything other than site visits.\r\n\r\nThere are multiple documents attached to the tender.\r\nPlease read these key documents first -\r\na)\tthe ITT (doc 002)\r\nb)\tthe Pass/Fail Response Document (doc 005)\r\nc)\tthe prelims document \r\n\r\nIf you cannot view or download any of the documents, please contact me urgently on halima.khatun00@stgeorges.nhs.uk cced to robert.bennett5@nhs.net .\r\n\r\nIf you have a problem with some documents or have a clarification question, please raise the question on the Atamis portal.\r\n\r\nPlease look at the pass/fail criteria in the pass/fail response document carefully and straight away and certainly before starting work on costing and answering the quality questions.\r\nIf you cannot evidence that you meet ALL the pass/fail criteria, your bid WILL be rejected.\r\n\r\nCustomer References\r\nCustomer Reference Forms\r\nThe bidder is responsible for requesting a reference from the customer for each of the three contracts that the bidder has detailed in the Pass/Fail Question Response Document (doc 005).\r\n\r\nThe process for obtaining customer references is detailed in the ITT (doc 002).\r\nPlease read this section straight away.\r\n\r\nIt is the bidder\u0027s response to obtain written references (on tender doc 004) from customers on reference projects by the tender submission deadline. \r\nYou will need to start work on this promptly. Please do not leave it until 7 days before the tender submission deadline and then tell us that the referee was on leave so you could not obtain a reference. We would be reluctantly forced to reject your bid.\r\n\r\n\r\nIf you are thinking of not bidding because this is an open tender, please reconsider.\r\nWhen we run open construction tenders, we typically receive only 3-5 bids which pass the pass/fail criteria AND pass the required 60% quality threshold.
