    "description": "The Authority invites suitably experienced providers for the above Framework for skilled service to provide Heating and Plumbing Service. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract.\r\n\r\nTenderers are required to have a Gas Safe accreditation and F Gas Qualification to be considered for this contract as they are PASS/FAIL\r\nIt is desireable to have COM CAT \u0027Core Commercial Catering Appliances 1\u0027 or equivalent training.\r\n\r\nSuccessfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract.\r\n\r\nThe main areas of activity may comprise of, but not exclusively be limited to, Hot and Cold water services, Boiler Replacements, modifications and extensions to existing systems and other planned investment works requiring heating and plumbing services to be completed in ether of the following forms; Operational, schools, commercial and any other properties owned by the Authority or its subsidiaries which may also include properties for sale. The specific Projects details that may be procured under this Framework Contract cannot be clearly defined at this stage, however, indicative volumes, approximate per year are: 10. Please refer to the Scope of Works in the tender pack for further information.\r\n\r\nFollowing this tender exercise, it is envisaged that 5 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework and the initial duration is 24 months with two options to extend for up to a further 12 months each. Works up to \u00a325K will be offered to the first ranked Contractor as a Direct Award. For works exceeding \u00a325K a mini competition will be undertaken with the 5 contractors on the framework via the OPEN portal (link provided further below_, please refer to the Authority Requirements and all other Tender documents in the tender pack for further information.
