Ofwat has already appointed advisers for some projects (see above), but the vast majority will be procured in the future.\r\n\r\nOfwat is looking to appoint up to three technical advisers to provide technical advice principally, but not exclusively, on several major projects including DPC and SIPR projects.\r\n\r\nBy way of specific examples, the Services that we require are likely to include but are not limited to the following areas:\r\n\r\nProvide assurance on technical feasibility including:\r\n\u2022\tEngineering designs and treatment processes\r\n\u2022\tAssets integration\r\n\u2022\tTechnical discreteness \r\n\r\nAssess project risk and delivery confidence including timelines/programme \r\n\u2022\tRisk management and probabilistic modelling to test schedule and cost\r\n\u2022\tProgramme management and governance\r\n\u2022\tConstruction review and readiness and technical due diligence\r\n\r\nReview project management strategies including asset management\r\n\u2022\tProject control and project management\r\n\u2022\tOperational Readiness\r\n\u2022\tO\u0026M Strategy\r\n\r\nReview of procurement readiness and documentation for main contractors\r\n\u2022\tMarket engagement\r\n\u2022\tProcurement and tendering strategy\r\n\u2022\tBid evaluation support\r\n\r\nSupport planning and land acquisition strategy\r\n\u2022\tLand acquisition strategy during planning\r\n\u2022\tSupport during planning\r\n\u2022\tAdvise on land acquisition, access rights, and associated risks\r\n\r\nOther\r\n\u2022\tIn addition to advice on projects, Ofwat may seek a request for quotation from the successful Supplier during the Contract Period, to provide specialist training to support the development of skills and knowledge within the Major Projects team.",
