    "description": "This RFQ shall be conducted in accordance with buying guidance under the NHS Shared Business Services framework for Design, Furniture and Appliances 2 - SBS10246.  The Trust have conducted a clinical trial and price evaluation to come to an award conclusion. \r\n\r\nNorth Bristol NHS Trust is implementing e-prescribe in August 2025 as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing patient care through digital transformation. This initiative aims to streamline the prescribing process, reduce medication errors, and improve overall efficiency in our healthcare delivery.\r\nMedicines optimisation is recognised to have a major influence on delivering better health outcomes for individual patients and for improving health at a population level as a process for reducing inappropriate prescribing and ensuring patient safety across care pathways\r\nIn preparation for the implementation of e-prescribe, the Trust is committed to modernising their legacy equipment and looking to purchase new Drug Trolleys to service the Southmead Site in full. This update is essential to ensure that Clinicians are familiar with the new hardware and fully prepared for the upcoming digital change. By upgrading our equipment now, we aim to provide a seamless transition and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare delivery.\r\nAs part of our commitment to ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency, the Trust conducted a thorough evaluation and review of suitable drug trolleys and identified optimal models from those tested.\r\nTo ensure that the selected product is fit for purpose, it was decided that it was appropriate to test in situ to ensure that our chosen trolley was suitable for our specific needs. \r\n\u2003\r\nThe assessment included: \r\n\u2022\tClinician Involvement: A diverse group of clinicians from various departments participated in the trial to provide comprehensive feedback on usability.\r\n\r\n\u2022\tReal-World Testing: The trolleys were used in actual ward environments to assess their functionality, ease of use, and suitability for daily operations.  It is important to note that the Trolley was not tested within the Elective Centre which shall require equipment. \r\n\r\n\u2022\tEvaluation Criteria: The trial evaluated the trolleys based on criteria including safety, efficiency, and user satisfaction.\r\n\r\n\u2022\tTransparency: The trial was transparent, with all feedback and results documented and reviewed to ensure an unbiased assessment.\r\n\r\n\u2022\tFeedback Collection: Clinicians provided feedback on their experience, focusing on aspects such as maneuverability, storage capacity, and overall usability.\r\n\r\n\r\n405100 EXURA 650 ePMA Workstation on Wheels -\t124 Units\r\n405200 EXURA 500 ePMA Workstation on Wheels - 7 Units \r\nUnspecified Size TBC - Elective Centre - 6 Units",
