    "description": "ondonEnergy Ltd shall be publishing this service for Tender on 30/10/2025. \r\n\r\nThe purpose of this post is to engage with the market to attract those that wish to be invited to tender for this service. \r\n\r\nPlease email lewis.atkinson@londonenergyltd.com to declare interest or if you require any additional information. \r\n\r\nPlease see attached specification, or please email the above email address if you are unable to access it. \r\n\r\nDescription:\r\nLondonEnergy invite suppliers to bid for the collection, treatment and recycling of Mixed Wood for a contract period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x one-year extensions (2+1+1)\r\n\r\nContract commencement date: 1st April 2026\r\n\r\nThe tender shall be for ONE LOT for the acceptance and recycling of c.12,000t PA Mixed Wood from our Waste Transfer Facilities situated in the North London Area.\r\n\r\nThe WOOD is primarily generated through HWRC and Local Authority collection services in North London and is considered grade C due to the mixed nature of the material.  - As Municipal in origin, the Wood is free from any Grade D / hazardous materials that may be generated from commercial demolition and construction activities. \r\n\r\nThe volumes outlined in section 6 are based on LondonEnergy\u0027s current collection sites with potential for additional facilities to be included over the course of the contract.\r\n\r\nProspective bidders will submit a proposal that ensures the acceptance and onward treatment of LondonEnergy\u0027s Wood with an aim of achieving a 100% recycling rate for compliant material.
