    "description": "Blackpool Council\u0027s (The Authority) Highways Department wish to appoint a Service Provider to:\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tundertake visual safety inspections of the Sea wall, Parade Area, beach access points, Cliff paths and all assets within the defined area. \\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tidentify, issue job tickets and then monitor completion of the work in accordance with the guidelines.\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tAs required, provide detailed reports to Blackpool Council\u0027s Engineer for Coastal Defence to defend against injury claims, which will most likely require appearing in court as an expert witness.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nBlackpool Council wishes to appoint a Contractor who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous tender. \\r\r\n\\r\r\nIt is anticipated that the contract will operate between 1st April 2025 and 31st March 2027 with an option to extend for 1 year plus a further 1 year.  \\r\r\n\\r\r\nPlease visit the Proactis portal (link below) for the full suite of tender documents and to submit any questions about this opportunity",
