    "description": "The requirement is for the supply and delivery of pre-packed sandwiches to 16 secondary schools currently supported by Derbyshire County Council Catering Service. The schools are primarily located within Derbyshire, although a small number may be based in neighbouring counties. This is a new provision as sandwiches are currently produced in-house.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nSchools are contracted to Derbyshire County Council Catering Service for a length of time and therefore the number of schools and the volumes purchased during the life of any subsequently awarded contract will fluctuate.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nDerbyshire County Council is looking to award a Call-off Contract for an initial period of 2 years with two possible 1-year extensions available, for a total of 48 months. The contract is expected to start in September 2025.",
