    "description": "The University Of Chichester has a requirement for two jobs under this tender.  It is envisaged that a \"best contractor\" will be appointed to undertake each requirement.  This may or may not be the same contractor for both Jobs.  Job 1 is a plant room upgrade in our Ashling Halls of Residence.  Job 2 is re-piping of the heating system in our gym area.\r\n\r\n Job 1 is to replace the existing combined heating and hot water plant, along with pipework and controls within the main plantroom. The contractor should allow for the removal and disposal of all old boiler plant and pipework along with the upgrade of the existing BMS controls to allow the new plant to operate seamlessly with the new boiler plant and associated equipment. This includes the following aspects:\r\n- boiler plant\r\n- flue system\r\n- hot water\r\n- heating\r\n- pipework\r\n- system pressurisation\r\n- controls and wiring\r\n- thermal insulation\r\n- commissioning and testing \r\n\r\nJob 2 is to replace the existing heating pipework through the gym. This includes to following aspects:\r\n- Disconnection and Removal of Existing Pipework,\r\n- Supply and Installation of New Pipework and Radiators\r\n- Connection to the Heating System in Changing Rooms\r\n- High-Level access\r\n- Thermal Insulation of New Pipework\r\n- Filling and Testing of the New Pipework\r\n- Commissioning \u0026 Testing\r\n\r\nFull details of our requirements are set out in the tender documentation in section 0.3 - 0.5. \r\n\r\nAll tender documents, Questions and Answers are open to all bidders.
