    "description": "The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) regularly commissions bespoke polling services with the aim of informing key policy areas.  In this particular instance, the department is seeking to commission research relating to the Electoral Resilience and Democratic Engagement Programme (ERDEP) which will introduce votes for 16- and 17-year-olds - referred to throughout as \u0027Votes at 16\u0027 - alongside other electoral reforms. This research includes conducting a survey and focus groups with both attainers who will be able to register to vote ahead of turning 16 (young people aged 14 and 15) and newly enfranchised electors (young people aged 16 and 17) across the United Kingdom. This also includes data analysis and drafting a final report that will be published.  In addition to this immediate requirement, the department will seek to develop a longer term arrangement with the Supplier, with the aim of potentially delivering additional projects during the term of the Contract.\r\n\r\nAdditional information: This is a call-off from the Crown Commercial Services Research \u0026 Insights DPS.",
