"description": "Waterside Valley is a linear 12.7 hectare (31.4 acre) stretch of informal greenspace to the east of Westfield. The site comprises three fields of disused grazing land. Its southeast boundary is defined by the watercourse variously known as Waterside or Snail\u0027s Brook, with the West Hill Gardens / Waterford Park housing estate forming its north west boundary.\r\n\r\nThe site had for many years been used as informal public open space and was acquired by\r\nthe Parish Council in two lots in 2021 and 2023.\r\nA masterplan and management plan has been produced for the site and the path improvements works covered by this tender, are the first significant phase of infrastructure improvements for the site.\r\n\r\nThe works comprise improving footpaths with a new granular surface and installation of some sections of boardwalk across wetter areas.\r\n\r\nPlease return your tender by email to parishclerk@westfieldparishcouncil.co.uk by 12 noon on 9th October 2024.\r\n\r\nYour tender should include the following please:\r\n\r\n1. Completed Westfield Parish Council Contractor Selection Questionnaire \r\n2. Completed pricing schedule and form of tender, including proposed contract period and start date on form of tender.\r\n3. Preliminary Brief but project specific Method Statements as required by section A30 500 of the ITT\r\n4.
