    "description": "The Council wishes to procure the following the following work:\r\n\u2022 The removal, testing and storage of the existing PV array (400 panels) along with fixings, bracketry and cable trays.\r\n\u2022 Repairs to the bowls hall roof and replacement / recovering of the sports hall roof.\r\n\u2022 Reinstallation of the existing PV array and the design and installation of a new solar PV array, based on a 214.2 kW/p array.\r\nThe Council has been successful in receiving a grant from the government\u0027s swimming pool support fund for the installation of solar PV at Penrith Leisure Centre. The aim of the funding is to improve the viability of leisure facilities by reducing their energy consumption, and to support the leisure sector to transition to a position of environmental and financial sustainability.",
