Description

The Cargo Cycleway project is Route 38 of the Carlisle Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan. Route 38 run in a north/south alignment along an unnamed road between the roundabout of Kingmoor Road with the A689 (Carlisle Northern Development Route) and the residential area of Cargo. The existing route is rural in nature and is circa 1.5km in length and forms part of the National Cycle Network Route 7 (NCN7). We are now entering stage 2 (construction) element of this project.
