    "description": "The Ministry of Defence (the Authority) intends to enter into a contract with Keysight Technologies UK Limited for The Repair \u0026 Calibration of Mass \u0026 Mass (On Site) Calibration Items. for a period of 2 years with the option of a further 1 year. The estimated total contract value is not to exceed \u00a31M.\r\n\r\nIn accordance with section 43 of the Procurement Act 2023, this procurement falls within scope of the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023. It is considered that the award of the contract without prior publication of a contract notice in the UK e-notification service (as required by the relevant legislation) is lawful in accordance with section 43(1) of the Procurement Act 2023 in that we have not received any suitable tenders in response to a competitive tendering procedure. This requirement was originally advertised subject to the DSPCR 2011 Regulation 17 Para 2 as Lot 9 of IRM21/7574 with Notice identifier: 2023/S 000-014611 and Procurement identifier (OCID): ocds-h6vhtk-03ce92.\r\n\r\nThis notice is not a request for expressions of interest so please do not apply to be invited to tender.
