    "description": "Manchester City Council seeks to a Market Administration and Payment System\\r\r\n\\r\r\nOur objective is to establish a supported and auditable retail platform to facilitate the continued sale of market trading spaces and the issuing of permission to operate a market. The system will play a pivotal role in managing independent traders, Sunday market and car boot stall holders, as well as independent market operators. The key functions of the system include Sale, Account Management, Administrator Management, and Health \u0026 Safety.\\r\r\nThe service must be a true Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nThe Contract period will be 5 years with two optional extensions, the first option to extend for 2 years and then a further option to extend for a 2 years ( 5+2+2 years)\r\n\r\nAdditional information: \r\nThe Council is using the e-business portal known as the Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link www.the-chest.org.uk. Applicants will need to electronically submit their completed tender documents, including standard selection questionnaire, via the on-line portal by 11am on 27th August 2024.",
