    "description": "Bristol City Council is commissioning supported accommodation for homeless single people and childless couples. This will be split into four supported accommodation pathways for homeless single adults:\r\n\u2022 Pathway 1: Men only;\r\n\u2022 Pathway 2: Mixed: men and women;\r\n\u2022 Pathway 3: Women only;\r\n\u2022 Pathway 4: Substance use (including specialist abstinent-based accommodation). NOTE: There is a separate award notice for Pathway 4, linked below.\r\n\r\nTo be eligible, prospective contractors must:\r\n\u2022 Own accommodation AND be a Registered Provider of Social Housing; OR\r\n\u2022 Own accommodation AND be in the process of applying to become a Registered Provider of Social Housing; OR\r\n\u2022 Lease accommodation from a Registered Provider of Social Housing.\r\n\r\nAccommodation must be:\r\n\u2022 Furnished, one-bedroom units within self-contained properties, shared houses or blocks of accommodation.\r\n\u2022 Within the geographical boundary of Bristol (i.e. cannot be in neighbouring authorities);\r\n\u2022 Available from 28 October 2024 for a period of at least 3 years.\r\n\r\nAn expression of interest was run to identify suitable providers which closed on 11/03/2024 (the link to this expression of interest is contained in this notice). To minimise the complexity of multiple providers delivering services, prospective contractors had to be able to supply a minimum of 50 units in total, or meet the minimum number of units specified within the Expression of Interest document.\r\n\r\n\u2022 The Contract(s) will be for 3 years with an option to extend for 2 x 1 years\r\n\u2022 The estimated annual value of this contract is \u00a35,381,874\r\n\r\nThis process has been undertaken on a voluntary basis with the Services being exempt from Part 2 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 by virtue of Regulation 10(1)(a), but with a view to attracting as many Service Providers as possible.",
