    "description": "The Council wishes to establish contracts with 6 deep community engagement partners to improve the understanding of the health requirements of Birmingham\u0027s diverse communities.  To identify local health need, map community assets, and co-produce solutions. \r\n      \r\n      The services to  be procured have been set out in sublots as shown in the table below:\r\n      \r\n      Lot 1Ai - Indian \r\n      Lot 1Aii - Pakistani \r\n      Lot 1Aiii - Bangladeshi \r\n      Lot 1Bi - Somali \r\n      Lot1Ci - Polish\r\n      Lot1Cii - Romanian\r\n      \r\n      This will be achieved through a variety of methods, including:\r\n      \r\n      o Dissemination of Public Health key information through existing or new networks\r\n      o Delivery of four focus groups per year\r\n      o Delivery of one project to reduce health inequalities per year, co-created with the target community.\r\n      o Delivery of four training sessions for health professionals on cultural intelligence\r\n      o Produce annual summary reports.\r\n      \r\n      The contracts will be for  2 years commencing October 2024, with an option to extend for a further period of 1 year, subject to satisfactory performance and budgetary availability.  \r\n      \r\n      Potential suppliers may apply for one / multiple sublots.  Separate contracts will be awarded for sub lot.\r\n      \r\n      The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
