    "description": "Fujitsu is seeking a suitably qualified SME to undertake fibre and copper installation works as part of the Airfield/Airside Implementation programme at Heathrow. \r\n      \r\n      The appointed contractor will be responsible for the provision, installation, testing, and commissioning of fibre and copper infrastructure, delivered in accordance with relevant industry standards and Heathrow site-specific requirements.\r\n      \r\n      The successful SME will demonstrate capabilities across the following areas:\r\n      \u2022\tInstallation of fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure, including containment systems.\r\n      \u2022\tTermination, splicing, and testing of fibre and copper cables to required specifications.\r\n      \u2022\tCommissioning of installed infrastructure to support operational readiness.\r\n      \u2022\tCompliance with Heathrow safety, security, and airside access protocols.\r\n      \u2022\tProvision of installation documentation, test results, and handover packs.\r\n      \r\n      It will be necessary for the successful SME to have the following industry accreditations:\r\n      \u2022\tCSCS/ECS Certification for all site operatives.\r\n      \u2022\tNRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) accreditation where applicable.\r\n      \u2022\tManufacturer certifications for fibre and copper systems (e.g., Excel, Commscope, Panduit).\r\n      \u2022\tISO 9001 Quality Management certification.\r\n      \u2022\tISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety certification.\r\n      \u2022\tSMSTS - For Managers \r\n      \u2022\tSSSTS - For Supervisors \r\n      \u2022\tAsbestos awareness - All \r\n      \u2022\tConfined space and working at height - (as applicable)\r\n      \r\n      Target Supplier Profile\r\n      \u2022\tSME based in or near the Heathrow area.\r\n      \u2022\tProven experience in fibre and copper installation within aviation, transport, or critical infrastructure sectors.\r\n      \u2022\tAbility to provide flexible, responsive support aligned with Heathrow\u0027s operational requirements.",
