    "description": "Cumberland Council has a requirement for a contract for the Supply of Corporate Hire Vehicles.\\r\r\nThe contract is for locations throughout Cumbria and delivery and collections are required from both business and home addresses.\\r\r\nDue to Cumbria\u0027s rural demographic the contract must be serviced from branches with a hire facility within the geographical area of each lot.\\r\r\nIn line with Cumberland Council\u0027s Travel Policy this contract will be serviced mainly by Class/Group B vehicles; other classes of vehicle will only be hired where there is an identified health \u0026 safety, licence or equality need.\\r\r\nThis contract will be tendered in 4 lots. Suppliers will be able to tender for one, more than one, or all Lots.\\r\r\nEach Lot will be evaluated individually, and each lot will be awarded to one supplier.\\r\r\nThe contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with the option of two extensions of up to 12 months each.",
