    "description": "In order to monitor the radiation generated in the different areas of ISIS, the ISIS Health Physics (IHP) staff (located at RAL) use portable instruments dedicated for ionisation radiation detection which requires periodic checks. These instruments are used to measure radioactive contamination (alpha and beta particles) and ionisation radiation (in gamma, X-ray or neutron field, or in a mixture of them).  \r\n      \r\n      This contract award notice is for a 1 year extension. \r\n      Reference:  2021/S 000-032330\r\n      The original contract is from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2025, with an option to extend this contract for a period of up to 2 years, in 1 year increments.\r\n\r\nAdditional information: The term and conditions relating to this purchase are provided in the Contract, which matches the Contract number cited in the narrative to this Purchase Order and are specific to this Contract.
