    "description": "The London Borough of Hackney Children \u0026 Families Service is pleased to invite bids from suitably qualified organisations for the supply of a \u0027by and for\u0027 agency specialising in work with Black women of African and/or Caribbean heritage, to deliver an Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy service in Hackney.\r\n\r\nThe service will support Black women and children of an African and/or Caribbean heritage who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse, including sexual exploitation and prostitution\r\n\r\nProviders will be required to evidence \u0027By and For\u0027 status for Black and Global Majority women and the ability to deliver \u0027in-person\u0027 IDVA provision to Hackney residents when needed and at short notice. \r\n\r\nThe Contract will be awarded for three (3) years starting 01st July 2025 with an option to extend for up to a further 1 year. \r\n\r\nThe Council anticipates that the Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) may apply to this contract. TUPE Information will be made available upon request.\r\n\r\nThe Council is undertaking this tender process via its electronic (e) tendering portal, the London Tenders Portal [LTP].
