    "description": "This expression of interest (EOI) serves to inform the supply chain about the upcoming North Plaza construction works scope. \r\n      Sizewell C (SZC) requires a contractor to construct the North Plaza, a vital component for improving access to the Temporary Construction Area (TCA) and supporting the delivery of the Sizewell C power station.\u202fThe Entrance Plaza is located to the east of Abbey Road and comprises a network of roads and durable surfaces designed to support access to the TCA. The features of this plaza will include;\u202f \r\n      \u202f \r\n      - An external bus interchange, providing efficient connectivity for regional transportation.\u202f\u202f \r\n      - An internal bus interchange, optimising the flow of buses servicing the site.\u202f \r\n      - A dedicated Bus parking area, providing storage for site transport when not in service.\u202f\u202f \r\n      - A car park to accommodate the vehicles of both visitors and staff.\u202f \r\n      - A designated parking area for Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), providing short-term storage for heavy material deliveries.\u202f\u202f \r\n      - Security access tracks that facilitate safe movement for personnel and maintain site security.\u202f \r\n      - Footways and crossings that promote safe, non-motorized movement throughout the facility.\u202f \r\n      \r\n      The scope of work for the area includes all activities necessary to complete the following: site preparation, material deliveries, duct installation routes, the creation of hard surfaces required for the described functions, and the required illumination of the area.\u202f \r\n      \r\n      The following items are excluded from this scope of work:\u202f \r\n      - HXX Pass Office\u202f \r\n      - HAF Search Facility\u202f \r\n      - HUG-1 Security Lane Cabins\u202f \r\n      - HEA \u0026 HTR - Old Abbey Substation\u202f \r\n      - HOM-2 - TCA West Potable Water Storage Facility\u202f \r\n      - HUF-1 - Freight Security Building\u202f \r\n      - HAY-2 - TCA Telecoms Bunker\u202f \r\n      \r\n       Tenderers will be required to: \r\n      \u2022 Provide a programme of works matching or improving the suggested Phasing Plan. \r\n      \u2022 To construct the plaza in its entirety, compliant and fit for purpose. \r\n       \u2022 Support the Project in SZC ESG and Social Value Goals",
